The incision will be inside the mouth, so that there won’t be any visible scar.

  1. For how long should I use the elastic bandage?

For about 2 months after the surgery except when you go outside.

  1. How long does it take to subside swelling?

Immediate swelling subsides in about 2weeks and the final swelling will slowly subside as time goes by within a month.

  1. Will there be severe pain?

Patient will have painkiller injected after the surgery, so there aren’t any pain.

However, if patient still feel some pain, doctor prescribe the medication to reduce the pain.

  1. For how long should I take liquid food?

It depends on the patient’s condition, but for a week the patient need to eat liquid food.

  1. Can asymmetrical face be corrected by facial contour surgeries?

Yes, it can be improved greatly by the facial contour surgeries.

  1. From when can I open my mouth easily after the surgery?

After about a month patient can open their mouth with ease but there is an individual variation.

  1. When can I start to brush my teeth?

After a week from the surgery, you can brush your teeth.

  1. Will I have totally different facial impression after the surgery?

When patients have wide zygoma and mandible, they tend to have strong impressions while after the surgery, it changes to soft and mild. However, right after the surgery, it’s not showing since there will be a lot of swelling.

Unless the eye muscles are weak, it is permanent.

  1. How long does it take to fully open the eyes after ptosis blepharoplasty?

As the swelling subsides in about 1~2 month or if it’s severe case, takes about 3months

it gets better and has no trouble opening eyes.

  1. When can I start the eye make-up?

Patients should avoid eye make-up right after the surgery but in about 2weeks, simple make-up is enabling.

  1. From when can I have my face washed?

Patients can not wash their faces with water until 4th day from the surgery.

Cleansing foam can be applied after a week from the surgery.

  1. How long does it take to look natural?

It is all individual, but usually immediate swelling subsides in about 1~ 2 months

and it takes about 4~6months for the final result.

  1. Would there be any scar left after the epicanthoplasty?

Our doctors proceed this surgery with the scar that can be hardly noticed.

  1. Is lateralcanthoplasty definitely permanent?

It is applicable by the condition of the patient’s eyes.

  1. Does Cohesive gel needs massage too?

There are two kinds of cohesive gel, texture type which has rough surface and smooth type which is soft, and the texture type doesn’t need massage.

The Cohesive gel that are used recently, feels almost like original breast.

  1. How long does the scar last from the surgery?

After about 3 months the scar almost blurs out, but it varies by patient’s condition and case.

  1. What is the difference between cohesive gel and Saline solution?

Saline solution bag needs massage for about 6 months to prevent shape contraction while cohesive gel texture type doesn’t need any massage for that.

  1. Will it look and feel natural like the original breast after the surgery?

Yes, it will be natural.

  1. Is breast cancer examination possible after the surgery?

Yes, it is possible to take the breast cancer examination after the surgery.

  1. Where would be the scar left?

The incision will be from the hairline through the inside of ear which will be back of the ear so it won’t be seen from the front.

It depends on patient’s condition but in about 2 to 3 weeks, swelling will get a lot better.

  1. When can I start the exercise?

Light exercise can be done from 3 to 4 weeks after the surgery but for about 2 months, please avoid extreme sports and sauna.

  1. What is SMAS-facelift?

SMAS-facelift is not only lifting the skin layer but also the SMAS layer.

SMAS layer is right beneath of skin layer and when these layers are both tightened, the result of facelift is more natural and long lasting.

The incisions will be made near the ear and hairline for the minimal scarring. These scarring will be carefully stitched so after a month or so the scarring will be inconspicuous.

For about 2 months, it will be more effective to wear garments as long as you can.

  1. The area where fat was removed looks bulgy, is it going get better?

It could be bulgy for about 2 to 3 months, but after 3 to 6 months it will get a lot better depends on patient’s condition.

  1. What is the difference between liposuction and smart lipo?

Liposuction is for wider area with a lot of fat, and smart lipo is for small area such as face, neck, and jaw line. Smart lipo has limitation to remove certain amount of fat but the method is very simple and easier than liposuction.

  1. Will there be any scar left?

It varies by the area and the patient’s skin condition.

  1. When can I start to take shower?

Taking light shower is okay but need to avoid bath and sauna for about 2 months.

  1. When can I see the result of the surgery?

Right after the surgery, it doesn’t show dramatic difference due to the big swelling but after a month, as time goes by the result will be seen.

  1. Is the post-surgery care necessary?

For fast recovery, we provide high frequency treatment and the garments to wear after the surgery.

  1. When can I go back to my daily routine?

Usually, after 2 to 3 days, patient can go back to the daily routine but avoid extreme sports for a month at least.

  1. Will I keep the fat by only one time surgery?

The injected fat will stay semipermanant since Vip doctors take out the fat with minimum fat damage, and inject through various directions and layers by several times.

  1. How long does it take to subside swelling?

Immediate swelling subsides in about 2 weeks and rest of the swelling will slowly subside as time goes by within 4 to 6 weeks.

  1. Will the fat sag down later on?

The fat can be absorbed a bit, but it does not sag down.

  1. What’s the percentage of surviving fat?

It is individual but about 50 to 60%.

  1. Will the area of the fat removed be bulgy?

It depends on patient’s body condition but it could be bulgy sometimes. Fe provide high frequency treatment to the patients so the bulgy part will get better later on.

  1. Does the harvested area painful?

  1. What is the difference between Filler and Fat graft?

Filler doesn’t last long and need regular injection to keep up, while fat graft is semipermanant and has very low chance of getting infection since it’s autologous.
